TUITION
Camp fees for each child, Mazputniņš and Mazputniņš chaperone is $650. Full payment is due at time of registration. If you think you will be receiving scholarships, please email marisa.graudins@rklic.org to receive a coupon code to avoid having to pay the full payment up front.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Mežotne is intended for campers age 4 (as of the first day of camp) through age 13 (up to 8th grade).
-
Mežotne campers may attend Mežotne up to the end of their 8th grade year. Rising 9th graders are encouraged to sign up for Kursa, so they can complete four years at Kursa prior to their senior year of high school. Mežotne campers will not be eligible to attend both Mežotne and Kursa as campers.
Children who are younger than 4 years old as of the first day of camp are ineligible for
priority registration. Should spots be available after older children are signed, up
children younger than 4 may be offered remaining spots.
REGISTRATION PRIORITY
WAITLIST
If a waitlist exists after registration, priority for remaining spots will be offered in the following order:
- If Mazputniņi is already at capacity, the next child without an accompanying adult chaperone listed on the wait list will be offered a spot.
- If Mazputniņi is not at capacity, the next child listed in waitlist order from either session will be offered a spot. If a Mazputniņš is next in waitlist order, there must be room for both a child and adult chaperone (2 spots).
If a waitlist does not exist as of April 1, anyone who had previously expressed interest in future attendance, even under the age of four, will be contacted about open spots.
EXCEPTIONS
Mežotne leadership reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy. Exception examples include “grandfathering” of past participants who are younger than 4 years old and infants who are not taking up accommodations (e.g., in a pack and play).
